World-renowned German soprano Marlis Petersen and Elenora teach a masterclass on Lieder by Richard Strauss in his hometown festival at Garmish-Partenkirchen. Final concert on Saturday, June 28th with Elenora on the piano.

Lied the Way Workshop
Elenora is founder and artistic director of Lied the Way workshop for female art song duos. She is a mentor for the participants alongside pianists Anne Le Bozec, Erika Switzer, soprano Marlis Petersen, doula and vocal coach Kendy Gable, and director Emily Hehl.

Wild Women of Song
Elenora and Israeli Mezzo Hagar Sharvit give the opening concert at the inaugural Lied the Way festival. They present songs from the voice of the wild woman: women at home in their true nature. Songs by Ravel, Debussy, Rita Strohl, Rebecca Clarke, Manuel de Falla, Wolf, Ives, Weill, Hanns Eisler, Sheila Silver, and Bernstein.

Eppaner Liedsommer with KS Brigitte Fassbaender
Elenora returns for the fifth time to the Eppaner Liedsommer to work with legendary Brigitte Fassbaender and the next generation of art song singers. Final concert on September 7th with Elenora on the piano.

End of semester concert for Elenora’s Lied class at the Hochschule für Künste Bremen.

TERRA Recording
Elenora’s debut solo album TERRA connects the piano to the earth element. She will record the CD in the Dolomite mountings of Toblach, Austria together with recording Engineer Phillip Reif.

Fallen Queen
Multi-disciplinary concert at the Eloa Festival in Helsinki together with Bass-Baritone Sam Taskinen, featuring works around the topic of women’s autonomy.
Composers include Schubert, Fauré, Libby Larsen, Toivo Kuula, and others.

Solo Recital at Lied Stadt
Elenora will sing and accompany herself for the opening recital of the new art song festival LiedStadt in Hamburg. Pieces by Schubert, Fauré and Margaret Bonds.

Liederabend with Manuel Ruiz Gomez, Tenor, featuring female composers who were influenced by Beethoven: Clara Schumann, Fanny Hensel, and Emilie Mayer.

Helsinki Festival “Khovanshchina”
Elenora is the pianist and assistant to Esa-Pekka Salonen in a production Mussorgsky’s “Khovanshchina” with the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra at the Helsinki Festival.

Lied the Way Workshop
Elenora is the artistic director and founder of Lied the Way e.V., whose goal is to empower and network female pianists in the art song community. This year they will hold a workshop for female art song duos in the heart of Florence, Italy. Mentors to include Anne le Bozec, Paulina Tukiainen, Waltraud Österreicher and Kendy Gable.
